A solar water well will provide a sustainable source of clean and safe water, benefiting numerous individuals and families in areas where access to clean water is limited or nonexistent. The cost of the well is £3,000.

We invite you to contribute towards a noble cause that honors the legacy of our beloved sister, Sr Lubna. In memory of her remarkable impact, we are raising funds to build a water well that will serve as an ongoing source of Sadaqah Jariyah.
Sr Lubna, a dedicated school teacher, had a profound influence that extended far beyond our local area. Sisters from across the country cherish heartwarming memories of Sr Lubna, describing her as a radiant ray of sunshine, perpetually adorned with a beautiful smile, and emanating kindness and sincerity. She was a true guide and mentor, introducing many to the truth of Islam with patience and wisdom. Sr Lubna possessed a unique ability to connect with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from children to women to the elderly. Her genuine kindness made her akin to an older sister to many.
Furthermore, Sr Lubna played a significant role in promoting modesty and faith. As the first sister in Burton to wear the hijab and jilbab, she exemplified haya (modesty) and became an inspiration for others. Her dedication to modesty and faith served as a shining example for the community. She nurtured her knowledge of both the Deen and academia, pursuing higher education without compromising her identity or values. Sr Lubna was renowned for her unwavering dedication to dawah (inviting to Islam), consistently enjoining good and forbidding evil.
To continue Sr Lubna’s legacy, we aim to build a water well that addresses the critical need for clean drinking water while honoring her commitment to modesty and her impact on the lives of others. Your contribution will provide sustainable access to clean water for underprivileged communities, fulfilling an essential necessity of life.
