Description
We, the community of York Street Masjid (YSM), are coming together to remember and honor the life of our beloved brother, Dr Khan, who has left an indelible mark on our hearts through his selfless service and dedication. As a way to show our gratitude and eternal support for Dr Khan, we are launching a fundraising campaign for a noble cause that reflects his values and commitment to making a lasting impact.
Dr Khan’s exemplary character and dedication to serving humanity have touched the lives of countless individuals within and beyond our community. He was an integral part of YSM, and we owe him a debt of gratitude for his tireless efforts and selfless contributions. Therefore, we, at YSM, have taken the initiative to raise funds for a solar water well as a Sadaqah Jariyah project in memory of Dr Khan.

By donating towards this project, you have the opportunity to contribute to a perpetual charity that will continue to earn blessings and rewards for Dr Khan even after his passing. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them” (Sahih Muslim).
