Uncle Bashir as he is fondly known in Burton is a founding member and trustee of the masjid. Over the past few decades he has dedicated his life for the betterment of the Muslim community in Burton. Due his trustworthy nature and service Uncle Bashir is responsible for the finances of the masjid.
